FIRST SMASH INTEROPERABILITY PLUGFEST + DEMO
The first SMASH Interoperability Plugfest and Demo will be held on December 4-7 at Management Developer's Conference. SMASH Forum member companies are encouraged to contact the SMASH Forum Chair immediately to participate at this historic event.

At the event, participating companies will run a pre-release version of the SMASH Interoperability and Functional Tester contributed by IBM against their implementations. The results of these tests will not be made public. As such, some goals of the plugfest will be:
- Resolution of issues with early versions of the SMASH Interoperability and Functional Tester
- Early detection of non-conformance to the SMASH CLP
- Generation of feedback to the SMWG regarding where rules are ambiguous and conformance problems are likely to occur
- Planning for the expansion of test coverage into 2007
- Base CLP Protocol / Function / Grammar
