Management Developers Conference (MDC) educates, trains and informs software developers about the exciting and evolving technologies for developing and deploying enterprise management solutions. MDC is one-stop shopping for all your standards-based enterprise management needs. MDC provides university days for attendees new to standards-based technologies.

MDC encourages participation by individuals and organizations with standards, research or practical experience for standards-based management, including government and commercial users, universities, research laboratories, and early adopters.

As a Management Developers Conference presenter, you'll benefit from the prestige and visibility associated with participating in this years highly anticipated conference program. Management Developers Conference is now accepting abstracts for the November 2008 conference program. Individuals interested in presenting need to submit their abstract by Tuesday, July 1, 2008 for consideration.


Specific areas of interest for MDC 2008 include standards, research and practical experience for standards-based management for the following:

     * Management Initiatives (CDM, DASH, SMASH, SMI and Virtualization)
     * Developer tools and infrastructure
     * Developer API
     * Client Application Development
     * Provider Development
     * Emerging Technologies
     * Real-world solutions & experiences


How to submit an abstract:

Send submissions electronically to presentations@mandevcon.com. Include submission title, author name(s), target audience (Introductory, Intermediate, Advanced), organization, address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, length of presentation (see below) and a brief description of how your contribution relates to the theme of this conference. Also designate a primary contact person, phone number, and e-mail address. Submissions are due July 1,  2008. We will notify authors by email on July 10, 2008.


Presentations:

Each presentation will be allowed 50 minutes or 1 hour, 50 minutes, which includes 5 to 10 minutes for Q&A. Once a person is accepted as a presenter, he or she must provide a copy of their presentation slides using our designated Open Office or PowerPoint template.

Panel Discussions:

Panel sessions are a less structured environment and allow conference attendees to interact with the panelists. Panel discussions are 1 hour, 50 minutes. Panelists are not required to submit a presentation, but each panelist is encouraged to deliver a short 2-5 minute introduction.
